Regional Winter Games

Encompass artists explored the creation of art with the use of scrap magazines. Beautiful and colorful backgrounds were painted, a design was created, and artists carefully cut and glued pieces of scrap magazine to the design. Artists were encouraged to cut magazine scraps that fit within a specific color to compliment the design.

The Citizens of Maine Special Olympic athletes kicked off the month of February with aquatic training. Athletes, like Elena, are training to compete in the Area Swim Meet on Wednesday, March 7th at Husson University and the State Swim Meet on Thursday, April 12th at Bates College.
